Under the direction of the Hermitage Cookie and Wafer Facility Sanitation Supervisor, this position is responsible for housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitation throughout the facility in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule. Cleaning tasks on the Master Sanitation Schedule are performed at a defined frequency to ensure the facility is well-maintained and food safety standards are upheld to produce and store a safe, quality product. While cleaning and sanitation of production equipment is primarily conducted by the Production Operators, this position will provide support by helping to coach new and experienced employees in proper cleaning and sanitation practices, as well as performing the post-cleaning inspection of the production equipment. Both classroom and on-the-job training will be provided to support the success of the technician. The scope of this role will require the employee to work during production shutdowns. The hours will be 6:45pm to 7:00am.
